Baby Bernard

This past year Food+Water+Shelter has been providing formula and other supplements to babies around the Ntcheu District and the Balaka District. These babies were either newborn or severely malnourished when they entered our program. We are excited to see the progress they have made over the past 3-11 months (depending on when they began needing supplementation). I am going to be sharing a few before and after pictures of these beautiful babies over the next few weeks.

BERNARD BRAZIYO

Was born on 28 May 2020 at Balaka District Hospital. He was 2 weeks old when we enrolled him. Now he is 6 months old. Birth weight was 2.5kgs and currently this month of December 2020, he weighs 8kgs. The baby was in bad shape the time we found him. The time he has been in the program, he has improved excellently and we are hoping he will continue to grow like this. He has been in the program for 6 months.
